Street interview ads in London

London is one of our two default production locations, alongside Manchester. We film on the streets with the highest footfall in the city, cast strangers on the spot, and deliver a full batch of ads within 14 days of the shoot.

    / Where we film

    High footfall, not quiet corners.

The whole method depends on real reactions from real strangers, so we choose London's busiest streets on purpose. More footfall means more people to approach in a single filming day, which means more concepts, more faces and more usable answers by the time the crew wraps.

A crowded street also means the people who stop for us are actually representative of who walks past your ad in a feed. That's the whole point of the format: real reactions from real people, not actors reading a script.

/ How a filming day runs

One day, a whole library of ads.

    Concepts first

Before we land in London, we've written the concepts: the questions we're going to ask and the angle each one takes on the problem your product solves.

    Casting on the street

A human crew approaches strangers on the day. Everyone who appears signs a release for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and paid usage across every platform.

    Filming and editing

We film every concept with different people, then cut the footage into hook variations. Test is 3 concepts with 4 hooks each, Scale is 8 concepts with 5 hooks each.

    / Delivery

14 days from shoot to finished ads.

Test and Scale packages deliver in 14 days from the London shoot. Premier delivers the first 50 ads in 14 days and the full 100 by day 28. That is the delivery of finished files to you, cut into 20 to 40 variants depending on the package, ready to upload. When you choose to launch them is your call.

Every package includes organic engagement cuts and direct response versions with an end card, plus unlimited edit revisions so a cut gets to where you want it before it runs.

    / Why London works

    A city built for footfall.

London gives us both scale and variety in one shoot day. It's the biggest city we film in as a default location, which means a wider range of ages, accents and reactions than a smaller city can offer in a single afternoon, and enough passing traffic that a crew can approach dozens of strangers without needing to reset location.

Variety matters because your ad account rarely serves one type of customer. A batch of ads cast entirely on one street corner, with the same kind of person answering every question, gives you less to test against different audiences. A busy, mixed London street solves that without extra planning.

    / Real reactions, not actors

    Nothing on camera is generated.

Every face in a London shoot is a stranger stopped on the day, filmed by a human crew, with a signed release for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and paid usage across every platform. Nothing is AI generated and nobody is reading a script we wrote for them. That's what keeps the reaction honest, which is the whole reason this format still converts cold traffic when a lot of feed creative starts to look obviously fake.

We do not put actors on a London street pretending to be strangers, and we do not recreate the format with generated footage afterwards. If it's in an ad we deliver from a London shoot, it was filmed there, that day.

    / What you get

A batch, not a single ad.

One London shoot day is built to produce a library, not one hero video. Test covers 3 concepts with 4 hooks each, 12 ads in total, with one included reshoot. Scale covers 8 concepts with 5 hooks each, 40 ads, with the raw footage delivered and one included reshoot. Premier covers 20 concepts with 5 hooks each, 100 ads, with the full raw library, B roll, and two included reshoots.

We recommend the right scope on the call, once we know what you're testing and how your account is currently spending.

    / Before the call

    What to have ready.

It helps to know roughly what your account currently spends on paid social, and which of your existing ads are starting to fatigue. That's enough for us to talk through a first test, agree the testing period before launch, and recommend the right scope for a London shoot.
