Street interview ad agency UK: London and Manchester, filmed on real streets

Before anything else, read the proof page and see the account screenshots for yourself, then read what's below with numbers you can check.

The UK's highest ranked street interview agency.

The Brand Hopper ranked Stradvert 3rd of 8 worldwide in September 2026, above every other UK agency on the list. StoryLab placed Stradvert in its top 3. Down Social, listed.

Why UK footage converts on UK paid social

A viewer scrolling a UK feed clocks a mismatch fast: the wrong accent, the wrong high street, the wrong bus stop. It's a small signal but it's enough to make an ad feel like it was made for somewhere else and then dropped into their feed. Filming on UK streets, with UK members of the public, removes that mismatch before the edit even starts.

The other reason is simpler: cold traffic in the UK responds to people who look and sound like the people in that market. A stranger's honest answer to a genuine question is the format's entire mechanism, and it works best when the stranger is recognisably from the place the ad is being shown.

    London and Manchester as default

London and Manchester are our default UK production locations. Both give us the high footfall, mixed audience streets that street interview ads need: enough passing traffic to cast quickly, and enough variety of people that a single day of filming produces genuinely different faces and answers, not the same few people re-shot.

Other UK cities are available on request. We've filmed a full day in Birmingham already, the shoot behind the DOT Trading numbers below, and any city outside London and Manchester is quoted separately on the call.

Vox pop versus street interview ad

"Vox pop" is the older, broadcast term. It describes a news crew or a radio team stopping people in the street to gather a short spread of public opinion, cut together for a segment that runs once and is never tested again. It's a format built for a bulletin, not a feed.

A street interview ad takes the same raw material, real people, real streets, unscripted answers, and builds it for a completely different job: paid social testing. That means concepts and hooks planned before the shoot, multiple variants cut from the same day, captions baked in for sound off viewing, and an end card built for conversion rather than broadcast. The people on camera are the same. What's built from them is not.

One Birmingham shoot day: the DOT Trading account

DOT Trading, a fintech app, booked a single day shoot in Birmingham. Reported directly from Meta Ads Manager and published with permission, the account shows 15,071 reported purchase events, 1,318,453 impressions and 40,546 link clicks, from about €21,200 spend, a €1.41 blended cost per event.

The best individual ad, "UK - Interview - Nieuwe guy", produced 3,973 purchases at €0.86 each, €0.44 per link click, from 287,182 impressions and 7,826 clicks. The highest volume ad, "UK - ZM - Oude vrouw", produced 9,569 purchases from 526,764 people reached, at €1.54 each. The client ran €600 and €610 a day behind two Stradvert ads at the same time. For comparison, the finance vertical CPC benchmark sits between €3.00 and €4.50.

    / Questions

    Questions

Why film in the UK if my ads run globally?
UK streets, UK accents and UK high footfall locations read as native to a UK feed. If your paid social spend is weighted to UK audiences, UK footage removes the small mismatch a viewer clocks when the setting doesn't match the platform they're scrolling in.
Do you only film in London and Manchester?
Those are our default UK production locations. We've also filmed a full day in Birmingham, which is the shoot behind the DOT Trading numbers on this page. Any other UK city is quoted on the call.
What's the difference between a vox pop and a street interview ad?
A vox pop is the broadcast ancestor: a short clip of public opinion, cut for a news segment or a radio package. A street interview ad borrows the same idea, real people, real streets, but is filmed, edited and structured from the start to be tested as a paid social ad, with hooks, concepts and an end card built in.
Which package should a UK brand start with?
Test if you want to try the format on a single concept set. Scale is what most UK brands run once the format is proven, since it includes raw footage and a wider spread of concepts. Premier is for brands running a full creative engine. We recommend the right scope on the call and send a tailored proposal.
Do you handle UK usage rights and releases?
Yes. Every person filmed on a UK street signs a release before any footage is edited, and you get full paid usage rights across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and any other platform.
